So in this case, if I select midi channel button 2 on my keyboard I should be able to play guitar, if I select button 3 I should be able to play piano and so on. What I would like is to be able to switch between the instruments loaded in Kontakt using the midi channel buttons on my keyboard. The Kontakt will assign the channels automatically,Ĭhannel 1 to violin, channel 2 to guitar and channel 3 to piano, however, when I press a key on my keyboard it plays the first one (violin) only regardless of which midi channel is selected on my keyboard 
I used to use FL studio and it was pretty easy to do it but now I switched to a mac so I decided to go with Logic.įor example, let’s say I have Kontakt in Logic and I load 3 instruments in Kontakt, violin, guitar and piano

I know how to load Kontakt in Logic, however I still can’t figure out how to switch to different midi channels using my keyboard midi channel buttons. I use Kontakt Player inside of Logic and there is one thing I can’t figure out so I was wondering if somebody could help I just got my copy of Logic, I also have imac and E-MU Xboard 61 keyboard
